The suppliers we use are, of course, extremely important to us. We source produce local to us, when possible. Having personal involvement with ‘Blairs Organic Nurseries,’ whose reputation as a first class quality organic producer is well known and nationally respected, we are very pleased to be able to offer large amounts of naturally ripened glass-house produce, including their round tomatoes, vine ripened tomatoes, baby plum tomatoes, green peppers, red peppers and mini cucumbers, from the end of March right through to the middle of November.
As the climate essentially controls where we geographically source produce, we need to use the south of the UK for our early crops. Produce not grown in this country are sourced as close as possible, to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.
All our suppliers and producers are fully certified to supply organic produce. To this end, we ourselves are monitored by –‘Organic Food Federation’ and you can be assured that your customers will be receiving the highest standard of certified organic food.
